Joe The Carver's Original Toy Carvings Gallery
The Challenge of creating and the inspiration of crafting a special gift for his grandchildren provided the passion. The result was that Joe introduced his line of Original Toy Carvings.

The 2001 Season for Juried Artisan and Exhibitors started with a Theme show built around the French and Indian War. The approximate time period mid 1700's. The challenge of creating and demonstrating the craft of wood carving at this point in history, was the framework for Joe's new product line Original Toy Carvings. Placing himself back in time, Joe envisioned a father making toys for his children after they had settled in for the night. Working by candle light and the warmth of the fireplace, Joe created that Special First Christmas Gift for his newborn granddaughter Bethany. The Items displayed in this Gallery are typical of Joe's Original Toy Carvings. Each item is unique, signed and dated by the Artist.
